Olivia Boudreau lives and works in Montréal. In 2009, she obtained an MFA in Visual Arts from Université du Québec à Montréal. Since then, her work has been exhibited at the Musée d'Art Contemporain de Montréal, Le Fresnoy in France, The Rooms in St John's, the Contemporary Art Gallery in Vancouver, Le casino du Luxembourg, among other places. Her short films have been programmed in several film festivals including TIFF (Toronto), Internationale Kurzfilmtage Oberhausen, SIFF (Seattle), and Stockholms Film Festival. In 2012, 2014, and 2016, Boudreau was on the long list of the Sobey Art Award, the most prestigious award in contemporary art in Canada. Her work is represented in the collection of major museums and institutions of Quebec. She is currently developing her first feature-length movie, a philosophical fantastic tale about beasts, humans, and the fear of the unknown.
